COLD SAPONIFICATION

NATURAL SOAP

Our soaps are all made by hand, with the riches that nature offers us. They do not contain preservatives, synthetic fragrances or artificial colors. The exclusive use of noble, organic and natural raw materials allows us to develop quality, healthy and beneficial soaps for the skin. The main ingredient in our soaps is organic olive oil. Recognized for its benefits on the skin, in particular for its moisturizing, softening, soothing and protective properties.

ANCESTRAL MANUFACTURING

Our soaps are made using the traditional "cold saponification" method. In this process, the soap is not heated, and therefore not cooked: the fatty substances are simply mixed with the soda. We formulate the soaps so that some of the vegetable oils are not transformed into soap. This part is what is called surgras. These unsaponified oils will provide nourishing and softening properties to the soap.

PERFUMES, COLORS AND TEXTURES

The monastery's soaps are scented with essential oils. They are colored with clays, 100% natural mineral pigments. They are enriched and decorated with aromatic plants, spices, vegetable juices, honey, donkey milk, poppy seeds etc. Original and decorative, shaped, cut and packaged by hand, they are all unique.
